Savings
In line with the key objectives of cooperatives, the promotion of savings lies as the foundation of membership. The CFA promotes various ways that members can save primarily by having accounts in the bank owned by CFA the Jewel Coop Microfinance Bank which is licensed and Supervised by the Central Bank of Nigeria and insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insuance Corporation.

Credit
One of the underlying reasons for members coming together is the lack of capital to finance their business needs. The CFA through its Microfinance provides different forms of credit to interested members. These include cash and input facilities. Members are able to expand businesses and acuire the necessary inputs and implments needed to effectively manage their enterprises.

Collective Bargaining
To benefit from the economics of scale, the CFA engages in collective bargaining. These include sourceing for raw materials collectively; aggregating produce and selling competitively to off-takers; engaging in collective program-generating activities and serving as an unbrella body for negotiations and collaborations with other stakeholders.
Other Services
CFA is the sole supplier of food items for feeding of boading post primary schools in Gombe State. The Ministry of Education has affirmed that CFA's performance in the school feeding program is best it has recieved so far. Currently, the CFA supplies 35 schools uner this program.
Post-primary Boarding School Feeding Program
CFA supports the alleviation of poverty of its members by offtaking their surplus grains at reasonable prices. The activity offers the members better prices for theit output as it gives the members the opportunity of collective bargaining and the benefits of improved access to markets.
Collective Produce Marketing
Based on the confirmed felt needs of our members, CFA procures inputs for sales and distribution to members. These include fertilizers (NPK and urea); agro chemicals (pesticides and herbicides); farm implements; seeds and advisory services.
Farm Input & Implements Supplies
To boost the income of CFA, a plaza was constructed that is leased out to members and non-mebers at a fee. The plaza also serves as a valuable asset to be used collateral when formal final institutions demand one. The plaza is staregically located and is well patronized.
